Paragliding at TGI is approved by the Dept. of Tourism, Govt. of Himachal Pradesh. All the necessary safety instructions are strictly adhered to while flying the passengers.

Before you start paragliding, TGI’s paragliding  instructor will brief you with safety instructions you will need to follow in letter and spirit. You may rest assured that you are simply going to be given the best in class safety instrumentation and flying kit for your overall safety.

Things to Know Before Paragliding at TGI

The  weight restriction for paragliding  is between 35 kg-98 kgs

The minimum age for flying is 12 years and there is no maximum age limit as long as one is fit and agile enough to take the flight.

Photography and videography of your Paragliding flight costs extra and is to be directly paid to your pilot. It is optional.

The flight duration depends on the climate scenario, wind and the weight. The average flight time is between 7 to 12 minutes. 

Consumption of drugs/intoxicants of any kind before the flight is strictly prohibited.

Comfortable clothing and sports shoes or boots are good for an enjoyable flight . T-shirts/light clothing for summer and thermal inner-wear/ jacket for winters are recommended.

GST would be as applicable extra.
